There were several rumors involving Derek Lunsford regarding why he was the last one to take the stage at the 2025 Mr Olympia, when traditionally, the reigning Mr. Olympia has that honor, being Samson Dauda. The rumors began surrounding Derek having a near-death experience with other athletes needing to spring to the rescue to save his life. Well, his coach Chris Aceto has had enough of the rumors, and DIRECTLY tells us what happened with Derek back stage, which led him to be called back to assist Derek just before his individual routine at finals.
Steve Weinberger was shown on camera answering a phone call during the finals, not long before handing the score cards to the Emcee of the event at the 2025 EVLS Prague Pro. As reported by Muscle Discord, the (ridiculous) theory circulating now is that Steve received a call from who could only be presumed to be the Manion’s in order to manipulate the judging of the show, and the bodybuilding world has erupted over this recent claim. Steve Weinberger responds himself, and I give my opinion on how this is completely unfounded and has no evidence of conspiracy.
