Senator Philip Aduda has donated an electric wheelchair and an undisclosed cash reward to Rilwan Idris Sabo, who won a gold medal in para-powerlifting at the recently concluded 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Following his triumph on the international stage, Sabo, a native of Kuje Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), returned home to a hero’s welcome, where he was officially received and celebrated by FCT stakeholders.
Hosting the gold medallist at his Abuja office, Aduda congratulated the people of Sabo’s community in Kuje Area Council and Nigerians at large for producing a champion whose achievement has brought honour to the nation.
