Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today felicitated para powerlifter Jhandu Kumar at his residence after the athlete won India’s first medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Kumar clinched the bronze medal in the Men’s heavyweight category with a best lift of 190 kg. On the occasion, Dr Mandaviya presented the Indian powerlifter with a cash award of 10 lakh rupees.
