Bodybuilder Sam Sulek is using his time away from the stage wisely. In a July 21 YouTube video, he invited fans to tour his private gym, outfitted with machines, free weights, and cardio equipment.
In 2025, Sulek made his amateur bodybuilding debut at the NPC Legends Classic. He won the Overall Classic Physique title, paving the way for his next contest. In Columbus, Ohio, Sulek displayed clear leg improvements at the Arnold Amateur, which helped him secure the victory and his IFBB Pro card.
Since turning pro, he has proved himself at the 2026 Arnold Classic, where he claimed eighth place. He got the chance to face off against elite talent, including reigning two-time Arnold Classic champ Wesley Vissers. Then, he earned a seventh-place finish at the Arnold UK. While Sulek has yet to confirm his next contest, he’s making sure his home gym is ready for action in the meantime.

Chest Area
Sulek’s chest area focuses on upper pec development, prompting him to include an Arsenal chest press machine and an Arsenal pec deck. To monitor form and stay symmetrical, he installed mirrors nearby.
“This Arsenal converging one is a little more inclined. That one is a little flatter. So, if we’re being real, this is going to hit your mid-chest just a little bit. Obviously, I’m always thinking upper chest. For the most part, everyone’s lower pecs are already developed.”
The Dungeon for Legs
Find Sulek’s leg machines below:
- Hack Squat
- Sled Leg Press
- Rogers Pendulum Hip Press
- Arsenal Lying Leg Curl
- Hammer Strength Leg Extension Machine
- Hammer Strength Leg Curl Machine
To make room for all the equipment, Sulek used scaffolding to stack them on top of each other.
“Like the fitness factory, so if there’s only so much space, what do you do? You stack shit on top of each other. And then, we turned this into the leg press dungeon.
We’ve got three. We’ve got a lot of leg machines are just on a rack or a Smith machine, but these three in particular, I’d say they are going to be your quad bread and butter (Hack squat, sled leg press, pendulum hip press).”
Back and Pulling Corner
In his back and pulling section, Sulek brought plenty of variety. He added an Arsenal pullover machine, along with a few chest-supported row setups. Nearby, he has a cable station and a lat pulldown machine to improve his back development.
“Literally the back corner,” he shared. “With these, with back, I’m split with my approach. I think of back like I think of everything. It’s not that complicated. You got pulldowns and rows, and that’s the end of it.”
“Your back is pretty complicated. There is a lot of shit going on,” he said. “For me, I noticed in an off-season, especially when I’m growing, this pullover machine and that pulldown right over there, I manage to feel a lot of upper lats.”
Arms and Cardio
Sulek highlighted the versatility of the cable stack, revealing a handful of pushdown variations he uses:
- EZ bar
- Straight bar
- Rope
- D-Handle
- Underhand D-Handle
- 2 D-Handles
- Overhand Rope
- Cross-Body Katana Style
He believes creativity can go a long way on arm days, especially when you lack certain machines.
“It’s kind of more up to you. If you walk into a hotel gym and you have an arm day, and they have a cable machine, and you say, oh man, I can’t get a good workout in here; there’s no preacher machine, no dip machine, I just look like that as a bad craftsman blaming his tools,” Sam Sulek said.
In addition to a side lateral raise machine for delts, Sulek has a dedicated preacher curl bench and stationary bike for his daily cardio.
Sam Sulek isn’t the only high-profile IFBB Pro to break down his gym setup. Reigning three-time Men’s Physique Olympia champion Ryan Terry recently walked through his $5 million training haven. ‘RT Fit’ features a hair salon, a coffee shop, hot and cold therapy, and a decked-out strength and conditioning area.
Time will tell if Sulek’s new garage gym produces results under the stage lights. Considering his star power, this setup should allow him to focus on training without public gym distractions.
