Afghanistan finished third at the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding Championships after its athletes won 10 medals at the regional competition.
An 18-member Afghan team competed in the championships, which featured athletes from eight countries and ran from June 30 to July 4.
Afghan athletes won one gold medal and three bronze medals, according to the bodybuilding federation. Two other competitors finished third in their respective categories and two placed fourth.
