KABUL (Pajhwok): Two Afghan bodybuilders won one gold and one silver medal on the opening day of the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in Bhutan.
The Afghanistan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation said in a Facebook post on Thursday that Maiwand Babakarkhel won the gold medal, while Riyaz Rahman Ehsan won the silver medal in the under-21 category.
The championships are being held in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, with a 15-member Afghan team competing.
