FLEX Italy Pro 2026: Kargbo Defeated Bonac

The IFBB Pro League competition calendar featured another spectacular European event last weekend. On Sunday, June 28, the 2026 FLEX Weekend Italy Pro took place in Milan, Italy. Fans’ attention was focused primarily on the premier event, Men’s Open Bodybuilding, where a fierce battle unfolded for the sole direct qualification spot to the prestigious Mr. Olympia 2026.

The competitors arrived in Italy in fantastic shape, and spectators were treated to a thrilling clash of generations and different body types. The main highlight of the evening was the showdown between rising stars and an experienced veteran.

Edward Kargbo Celebrates the Achievement of a Lifetime

In the end, Edward Kargbo, representing the United Arab Emirates, won the gold medal and the coveted ticket to Las Vegas for this year’s Mr. Olympia. On stage, he showcased a phenomenal physique—his form was characterized by immense muscle density, excellent proportions, and a rock-hard, lean condition that the judges simply had to recognize.

His biggest obstacle on the path to victory was the legendary William Bonac. This seasoned veteran, renowned for his massive arms and rounded muscles, put immense pressure on Kargbo throughout the competition. Bonac put on a great performance and confirmed that he still belongs among the absolute best; however, in the final tally, it was “only” enough for silver this time.

Third place and the bronze medal went to the exceptionally well-prepared Jordan Hutchinson, who thus confirmed that he’s a force to be reckoned with on the professional scene in the future. Rounding out the top 5 were Daniel Goss and Justin Musiol, who also showcased top-notch skills.
