Bodybuilder Jordan Hutchinson Reveals 4,400-Calorie Full Day of Eating for 2026 Italy Pro – Fitness Volt


Preparations are heating up for rising Men’s Open star Jordan Hutchinson. On April 7, 2026, he detailed his 4,400-calorie full day of eating ahead of the Flex Weekend Italy Pro, set for June 28 in Milan, Italy. 

Jordan Hutchinson wasn’t a household name when he first embarked on his bodybuilding journey. However, that’s quickly changing, thanks to a string of breakout performances. He built momentum with a clear-cut victory at the 2025 Tampa Pro. This paved the road for his first attempt at the prestigious Mr. Olympia. 

Before making that stop, Hutchinson tested himself at the Texas Pro. He took out a strong lineup to earn gold, including Joseph Palacios, Quinton Eriya, and John Jewett. In his debut at the Mr. Olympia, Hutchinson finished 12th, leaving him with plenty of room to move up in the future.

Meal 1 

  • 75 grams cream of rice (strawberry candy flavor) 
  • 50 grams strawberries 
  • 75 grams banana 
  • 350 grams egg whites 
  • 1-2 whole eggs 
  • 1 English muffin 
  • Coffee 

Hutchinson shared that his carbs are staying lower during this stage of preparations. In his off-season, he ate nearly double the amount of cream of rice. 

“My carbs are lower. When I was peak off-season, Chris had me eating a prescribed diet, it was like 160 grams of cream of rice, which is obviously a lot. But I would back it off and I would do some extra fruit and stuff because they would get almost too thick.” 

Meal 2 

  • 160 grams jasmine rice 
  • 50 grams zucchini 
  • 175 grams chicken 
  • 33 grams avocado 
  • 20 grams dates 

He moved on with rice and chicken. In addition, he managed to get in healthy fats from avocado and fiber from the dates. 

“I just heat it up in the pan. If I don’t have time to heat it up, I just microwave my food but it’s so much better if I can heat it on the pan,” he said. “I really don’t meal prep meats. I used to.” 

“Zucchini is my favorite, by far, and I do one meal a day with asparagus.” 

Meal 3: Pre-Workout 

  • 243 grams of rice + rice cakes (caramel flavor) 
  • 165 grams chicken 
  • 110 grams apple 
  • 10 grams cashew butter
  • Salt
  • Stevia
  • Maple Syrup 
  • Coffee 

This has remained Hutchinson’s go-to pre-workout meal that satisfies his sweet and savory cravings. 

“The infamous sweet and savory meal that Dad with Muscle and Strength came and filmed with me last year, and we did the sweet and savory chicken, rice, nut butter, apples; I’m still doing it. Nothing has changed.” 

Meal 4: Post-Workout Shake

  • 120 grams of cream of rice (peanut butter flavor) 
  • 75 grams banana
  • 50 grams whey protein (vanilla cake flavor) 
  • 4 grams peanut butter 

He refueled after back day with a protein shake. He used the Nutribullet and said it’s the only way he’ll drink them with just water and ice. 

“Back home from the gym, guys. I’ve already made my post-workout bowl of gains,” he said. “It’s just like a milkshake, it’s amazing. You don’t need milk. You don’t need almond milk, just ice and water.” 

Meal 5 

  • Chicken
  • Rice
  • Asparagus 
  • 33 grams avocado 
  • 24 grams dates 
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning 
  • 8 oz kombucha 

To support his gut health, Hutchinson’s fifth meal each day includes kombucha.

“I absolutely love it. I do eight ounces of kombucha on this meal. This is not my favorite flavor. When we do delivery, sometimes they only have this one, pomegranate blueberry isn’t my favorite but I basically do half a bottle,” he said

Meal 6 

  • 160 grams rice 
  • 175 grams 96/4% ground beef 
  • 50 grams zucchini 
  • Red onion
  • 15 grams sauerkraut
  • A&W Root Beer 

Before calling it a day, he touched on the challenges of growing in the off-season and dealing with hunger when contest prep ramps up: 

“We got the last meal of the night here, meal six,” he said. “At some point, when you get too heavy, and you start waking up because you’re too heavy and uncomfortable and eating a ton of food, and prep comes around, and it also gets difficult because you’re starving, you’re depleted, your body doesn’t really want to sleep.” 

Despite not competing since last year, confidence in Hutchinson’s potential is high. Former four-time Mr. Olympia legend Jay Cutler didn’t mince words. He believes Hutchinson will fight for a top-four position when the event makes its return as long as he improves his back. 

Based on his diet and current training demands, Hutchinson is on track for another major season. The 2026 Flex Weekend Italy Pro takes place June 28 in Milan, Italy.
