NABBA Legend and Golden Era Bodybuilder Brian House Passes Away at 82


The bodybuilding world has lost another legend.

Brian House, a veteran of UK bodybuilding has passed away at the age of 82. House who competed in multiple NABBA competitions throughout the years, from the 60s to the 90s, passed away from natural causes.

Brian House shared the stage with other legends Lou Ferrigno, David Prowse, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. House was even said to have some of the best legs of his day. He was said to have beat Schwarzenegger in the leg department when they both competed at the Mr. Universe competition. Paul Jefferys of NABBA East posted this on Facebook:

“Its with great sadness we have lost a Nabba legend, and great friend Brian House, former Nabba North East Judge and show promoter of the Mr/Miss York shows.
One of the great Yorkshire Bodybuilders of the 60s and 70s.
A man of many top bodybuilding titles. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.”
