Samson Dauda Shares Insane Offseason Weight Update Of 339 Pounds

Samson Dauda has focused on putting on more weight and has succeeded to this point.

Samson Dauda has an Olympia title under his belt already in his career but wants to get even better after the 2025 season. This includes adding more size to his frame. Dauda, who is already one of the biggest competitors in the world, believes he can get to 350 pounds this offseason. He is well on his way after sharing a recent offseason weight update at 339 pounds.

Dauda stepped on the scale on Tuesday morning, which begins the first week of his offseason. The scale read 154kg, or 339 pounds, which is right in line with what he is shooting for this offseason.

“So, brand new scale 😅 and now we are in our first week of the offseason already weighing more than I ever have in the past and I’m surprised how comfortable I am carrying this weight around.”

Dauda has spoken in the past about being 300 pounds, claiming that he “doesn’t look good” if he is under this number. He quickly pivoted to 350 pounds as the goal this offseason as he looks to add even more muscle mass.

Samson Dauda has proven that he is a true force in Men’s Open and this has been the case since his debut. In 2022, he finished in the Top 10 at his first Olympia competition and shot up the scorecard in 2023 — when he was top three. After his victory last year, it was a surprising drop to No. 4 but Dauda is prepared to move forward and improve.

Dauda will continue to be a threat in 2026 and will do it in a different way. In previous years, Dauda has worked under a weight cap made by himself and his team. This offseason, he is eliminating this and seeing what he can do with unlimited size. So far, Dauda has been able to make great strides and add more to his already massive frame.

“Literally every offseason, I’ve kept a cap on how much I want my weight to climb. This is the first time where I’m like ‘f*ck it, let’s go for broke.’ Let’s see what it can do. I’m curious to see what happens.”

Dauda’s rise through the IFBB Pro League was steady. After turning pro in 2018, Dauda gained momentum with standout performances at shows like the British Grand Prix and the Arnold Classic UK. But his true breakout moment came at the 2023 Arnold Classic, where he battled against Nick Walker and Andrew Jacked to earn the runner-up spot. The bodybuilding world took notice. His combination of mass, shape, and stage presence became impossible to ignore.
