Jayne Trcka, the actress who played Miss Man in the 2000 comedy “Scary Movie” – a film that spoofed horror classics like “Scream” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer” – has died at 62. She was also a fitness model and one of the most recognized bodybuilders in the United States. While news of her death emerged this week, her son confirmed that she passed on Dec. 12 at her San Diego home.
The final goodbye to Miss Man
In “Scary Movie,” Trcka parodied the iconic gym teacher from the horror classic “Carrie,” earning her a memorable spot in the film’s cult legacy. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said a friend had called Trcka multiple times in the days before her body was found but received no response. Concerned, the friend went to her home and discovered her unconscious in the kitchen. Emergency responders arrived shortly after and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Although the news is only now public, her son confirmed that Trcka had passed in mid-December. TMZ reports that her family said she had no known illnesses or health conditions prior to her death, with the cause of her pause said to be pending.
