Sana’a – Saba:
The Republic Bodybuilding Championship has been launched in Sana’a, organized by the General Union of the Sport under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and funded by the Youth and Adolescents Care Fund.
The championship featured elite athletes from various governorates who qualified through preliminary rounds. Competitions were held in four weight categories (under 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, and over 80 kg). During the opening quick showcase event, Ibrahim Al-Barraq from the Capital Municipality was crowned champion in the over 80 kg category.
The championship took place at Khalid bin Al-Waleed School Hall, overseen by a refereeing committee comprising four national judges led by Adil Al-Hammadi.
