Shillong, Oct 12: Meghalaya police personnel Wilynder Khonglam won gold in the men’s 75kg bodybuilding category at the Mr and Miss Asia Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship held in Meghalaya on October 10.
Gumpi Rime of Arunachal Pradesh secured gold medals in both the women’s bikini and women’s physique categories at the championship, organised by the Indo Bodybuilding Fitness Association at the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture.
Wanraplang Thubru was crowned overall champion of champions in men’s bodybuilding, while William Rymbai claimed the corresponding title in men’s physique.
An athlete from Assam won gold in the masters category.
