Mike Sommerfeld won Classic Physique at the 2026 Southern Muscle Showdown Pro in Dalton, Georgia, on October 3, one week after he finished second to Niall Darwen at the 2026 Olympia. Phoebe Hagan of the United Kingdom won Bikini ahead of Ashley Kaltwasser, the three-time Bikini Olympia champion.
Classic Physique
Sommerfeld beat 17 others for his second win of the year, after the Arnold Classic UK in March. The German has finished second at each of the last three Olympias and won the 2025 Arnold Classic. Mahfuz Hawit of Honduras placed second, matching his best pro finish from the 2025 RGV Classic Pro. Dominic Carter, the San Antonio Pro runner-up three weeks ago, finished third.
Bikini
Hagan won from a lineup of 20 for her third pro win of 2026, after the San Diego Pro and the Wasatch Warrior Pro in April. She placed sixth at the Olympia. Kaltwasser was second in Dalton. She has won five pro shows this year, the last of them the Sasquatch Pro on September 19. Nivea Campos of Brazil took third.

What It Means for the 2027 Olympia
Sommerfeld already holds a 2027 Olympia spot from his runner-up finish in Las Vegas. In Bikini, a win at a regular pro show pays 10 points toward the 2027 Olympia. Neither Hagan nor Kaltwasser finished in the top three at the 2026 Olympia, so both are collecting points: Hagan opens on 10, and Kaltwasser adds her 4 Dalton points to the 10 from her Sasquatch Pro win and sits on 14.
