Nigerian-born bodybuilder Samson Dauda has finished second at the 2026 Mr Olympia competition.
In a post via Instagram on Sunday, September 27, Dauda confirmed his runner-up finish, sharing photos from the competition and writing, “2nd place at the 2026 Mr. Olympia.”
Dauda said he came to the competition to win but expressed pride in the physique he brought to the stage, describing it as “the best version of me we have ever created.”
The bodybuilder also thanked his team for their support throughout his preparation, saying the silver medal belonged to everyone who worked with him.
Dauda finished behind American bodybuilder Nick Walker, who claimed the 2026 Mr Olympia title.
The result gives Dauda another podium finish at the prestigious bodybuilding competition after winning the Mr. Olympia title in 2024.
