Afghan bodybuilder Ali Bilal claimed the runner-up title in the Men’s Physique division at the 2026 Mr. Olympia competition in Las Vegas, United States, which took place from September 24 to 27, 2026.
Official results from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro League confirmed that Britain’s Ryan Terry captured first place with five points, while Bilal followed in second place with 12 points. American competitor Kyron Holden secured third place with 13 points.
Bilal stood out as the sole representative from Afghanistan to rank among the top finishers in this year’s Men’s Physique category, as reported by Pajhwok Afghan News.
The competition featured top international athletes and former champions. Prior to the Las Vegas showcase, Bilal won the Men’s Physique title at the 2026 New York Pro in May, where official IFBB records showed him finishing ahead of Brazilian athlete Edvan Palmeira and Indonesian competitor Isai Kesek.
The second-place finish marks another podium appearance for the Afghan athlete, who previously achieved consecutive runner-up positions behind Ryan Terry at both the 2024 and 2025 Mr. Olympia contests.
