A BODYBUILDER has died aged 28 after a flesh-eating bacterial infection his family say was triggered by illegal muscle-gain products.
Kevin Notario Nunes, an ex state-level bodybuilding champion, was rushed to hospital with intense pain in his thigh and underwent emergency surgery.

Doctors in Brazilian city Ponta Porã diagnosed necrotising fasciitis, a rare but aggressive infection commonly known as flesh-eating bacteria that rapidly destroys skin and soft tissue.
Kevin was taken to Hospital Regional in Ponta Porã as an emergency on Christmas Day after the sudden onset of severe thigh pain.
He was operated on immediately and remained intubated, but his condition quickly deteriorated.
