Wesley Vissers is ready to take on the world’s best Classic Physique bodybuilders. In a September 17 video, he joined Milos Sarcev to weigh his chances at the 2026 Mr. Olympia. “The Mind” said Vissers heads into the event as a top contender with ‘off-the-charts’ conditioning.
After a rocky 2025 bodybuilding season, Vissers found his footing this year. He returned to the 2026 Arnold Classic Ohio and showcased major improvements to claim gold. Most notably, “The Dutch Oak” brought up his leg fullness, muscle separation, and detail. This was one of the long-standing criticisms he faced lately.
Unsatisfied, the surging Classic Physique star set his sights on the Detroit Pro and left victorious. He also challenged Mike Sommerfeld at the 2026 Arnold Classic UK, but his legs still weren’t where they needed to be. However, looking ahead, Milos Sarcev is adamant that Vissers could pull off an upset given his physique’s level of detail.
Milos Sarcev Calls Wesley Vissers a Top Contender to Win 2026 Olympia
In the video, Sarcev emphasized that Vissers’ physique has Classic Physique Olympia title contender written all over it. From his conditioning, flat stomach, popping lats, to striated shoulders, he believes Vissers isn’t missing much:
“Conditioning is off the charts. So, he’s definitely a contender for the title. The stomach is super flat. Lats are out, shoulders are popped, there’s striations everywhere,” explained Sarcev.
“It’s true. I’m a super fan. This is extreme of extremes,” said Sarcev.
Sarcev shared that more people need to see Vissers’ conditioning to understand what quality truly looks like in the IFBB Pro League.
“I need to stick it in their faces; this is what it’s supposed to look like,” Sarcev added. “I watched some of your videos. You’re super smart. I realize people can learn from him a lot.”
“You guys have completely different physiques, so it’s going to come down to what you bring on the stage. Everybody has a chance, from every aspect; everyone has a chance,” he said. “You have to play to your strengths [because everyone has different qualities to their physiques].”
Vissers is remaining patient as he gradually climbs the Classic Physique standings. He recently shared that his ultimate goal is to win the Olympia within three years. He also predicted that this year’s final callout will feature himself, Niall Darwen, Terrence Ruffin, Mike Sommerfeld, and Ramon Dino.
Anticipation for the 2026 Mr. Olympia is reaching a new level as just a few days await. The event takes place from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
