The Olympia Weekend has earned a reputation as a prestigious platform for powerlifting, and that tradition will continue in 2026. The titles of Mr. and Ms. Powerlifting Olympia will be presented at the USA Powerlifting Olympia Championships will be held in the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 25th and 26th as a part of the legendary 2026 Olympia World Fitness Expo.
Details of the Meet
The Olympia Championships will feature both raw and equipped competitions. Equipped lifters will be permitted to use bench shirts and squat suits as well as belts and knee wraps or sleeves. Rosters have not been finalized as of this writing. Some competitions are no longer holding registrations, but competitors who wish to enter the available events must do so through the USAPL website. That is also where you can see updated rosters in their entirety.
What Are the Weight Classes for the 2026 USAPL Olympia Championships?
Men’s Raw Open
Lightweight: 60–82.5 kg
Middleweight: 90–100 kg
Heavyweight: 110 kg and above
Women’s Raw Open
Lightweight: 52–56 kg
Middleweight: 60–70 kg
Heavyweight: 75 kg and above
All other categories will award the top three finishers based on their DOTS score, a method to score lifters based on totals, bodyweight, and age. Aside from the Open, there will be a single Teen division and Masters division.
There are also Deadlift only and Bench only events scheduled for this meet as well as a “Prime Time Invitational” contest. The Prime Time event will host the following categories and classes.
Women’s Raw Open
Lightweight: 44–65 kg
Middleweight: 70–82.5 kg
Heavyweight: 90 kg and above
Men’s Raw Open
Lightweight: 60–75 kg
Middleweight: 82.5–90 kg
Heavyweight: 100 kg and above
Men’s Raw Junior
Lightweight: 67.5–82.5 kg
Heavyweight: 90 kg and above
Ms. Powerlifting Olympia
The main highlight of this meet will be the crowning of USAPL’s Mr. and Ms. Powerlifting Olympia titles. These honors will go to the man and woman who achieves the highest raw DOTS score in any full power competition contested during Olympia Weekend. They will be announced at the conclusion of the action on Saturday, September 26th.
What Is the Schedule for the 2026 Powerlifting Olympia in Las Vegas?
Registration and early check-ins will take place on Thursday, September 24th. There are no 24-hour weigh-ins for this meet. The schedule for the Powerlifting Olympia event is below, per the Limitless Powerlifting website.
