LAHORE – Pakistan WAPDA athlete Muhammad Hamza Raja created history by winning gold in the Men’s Physique category and claiming the overall title at the IFBB Mr Universe 2026 Championship in Switzerland.
Competing against athletes from 26 countries, Hamza delivered an outstanding performance to secure the prestigious IFBB Pro Card, becoming the first Pakistani athlete to achieve the feat in Men’s Physique while also winning the overall title at the international level. The landmark double victory marks a significant milestone for Pakistani bodybuilding and fitness, placing Hamza among the sport’s elite competitors and bringing international recognition to the country’s growing strength and fitness scene.
Representing WAPDA, Hamza’s success also highlighted the organisation’s continued contribution to developing and supporting athletes capable of competing at the highest international level. The WAPDA Sports Board congratulated Hamza on his historic achievement and praised his dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence.
