LAHORE: Pakistan’s bodybuilding scene witnessed a historic breakthrough as Muhammad Hamza Raja, representing WAPDA, clinched the Gold Medal in Men’s Physique and the Overall Title at the prestigious International Federation of Body Building and Fitness (IFBB) Mr Universe 2026 Championship.
Competing against athletes from 26 countries, Hamza Raja not only secured the gold but also earned the coveted IFBB Pro Card, a milestone achievement for Pakistan. This marks the first time a Pakistani athlete has won both the Men’s Physique Overall Title and the IFBB Pro Card at the international level, elevating Pakistan’s profile in global bodybuilding.
The WAPDA Sports Board congratulated Hamza Raja on his historic success, terming it a proud moment for both Pakistan and WAPDA. Officials reiterated WAPDA’s commitment to promoting sports and nurturing talent capable of excelling at national and international forums.
