Zelensky earns bronze at North American competition

Tim Zelensky of Air Ronge continues to prove he has what it takes to compete in the world of powerlifting.  

Zelensky, who has been competing since 2019, most recently took part in the North American Regional Powerlifting Championships in St. John’s, Newfoundland, earlier this month. He managed to earn bronze in the men’s 83-kilogram division with a weight total of 730-kilograms or 1,609 pounds.  

In specific, Zelensky benched 180-kg (397 pounds) earning gold, deadlifted 310-kg (683 pounds) earning silver, and squatted 240-kg (529 pounds).  

“I was actually quite happy with it,” Zelensky said about coming in third.
