A five-member team, inclusive of National Champion, Franklin Carbon, has been named to represent Antigua and Barbuda at the 53rd Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Fitness & Bodybuilding Championship slated for August 27 to 31st in Guatemala.
Earlier this month, Carbon muscled his way to the Senior Bodybuilding Overall title at the National Championship on his return to competition after several years of absence.
Also selected are Tiffany Gordon, Jonte’ Barnes, Che-Vaughn Ferris and Andrei Phillip.
Gordon dominated the B division of the Senior Bikini Fitness competition at this year’s national while Phillip topped the Senior Men’s Physique B category. Ferris, who competed in the Senior Bodybuilding A category during the nationals, was adjudged Most Improved Athlete while Barnes received an award from Bernard Percival for being the Best Poser.
