The Canadian Special Olympics wrapped up last Saturday in Medicine Hat, Alta. For 35-year old Josee Seguin, a gold-medal-winning powerlifter from Sudbury, it was her last time competing in the sport in Canada. After sweeping international competitions in Abu Dhabi and Berlin, the athlete will compete once more at Special Olympics Worlds in Chile (2027), if she is selected to represent Ontario again.
