Hyderabad police arrested four men for allegedly procuring and selling mephentermine sulphate injections used for bodybuilding. The accused were caught at Begum Bazar with 50 vials and other material.

Hyderabad: The Task Force (Golconda unit) and Goshamahal Police arrested four persons for allegedly illegally procuring, supplying, selling and consuming Mephentermine Sulphate injections used for bodybuilding on Friday.
The arrested were Gowtham Singh, R Abhilash, Siddesh Aundekar and Daksh Upadhyay.
Police said Gowtham allegedly procured the injections from a supplier in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh at Rs 160 per vial and sold them for Rs 900 each with the help of Abhilash.
The four were caught at Begum Bazar while allegedly attempting to sell the injections to customers.
Police seized 50 vials, insulin injections, empty vials, mobile phones, all valued at Rs 1.85 lakh. The Goshamahal Police are investigating.
