The college football season is nearing, and there are tons of intriguing player and team storylines to follow. Yet this week, it was a surprising figure taking all of the headlines due to his physique.
Anto Saka, one of the newest members of the Texas A&M Aggies, went viral on social media after an interview of his was posted. In the interview, Saka was explaining how the Aggies’ strength and conditioning program has helped him tremendously already.

Anto Saka shocks fans by simply looking massive ahead of 2026 season
Fans were stunned by how massive Saka looked in the interview, with many wondering aloud if he’s actually 22 years old, like the university claims. In fact, Saka was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 12, 2024. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 255 pounds, he certainly boasts a commanding presence.
Saka is a redshirt senior, so technically he’s older than most other college players, which helps explain some of his unique physique. He’s set to turn 23 years old before the end of his college stint.
Saka spent the first three seasons of his college playing career at Northwestern, all with head coach David Braun, who began his stint with the Wildcats the same year Saka began playing. Saka had redshirted in 2022 as a freshman, and he was recruited to Northwestern from Loyola Blakefield High School by Pat Fitzgerald, who was fired the season after.
In three seasons with Northwestern, the defensive end racked up 14.0 tackles for loss and 12.0 sacks. He was then poached by the Aggies in the transfer portal. He’s expected to start at defensive end and likely rotate with two other seniors, T.J. Searcy and Ryan Henderson.
