Sabrina Knight, 40, from Crawley, has turned her passion into a venture she believes to be the UK’s first premium female bodybuilding entertainment business, Muscle & Mischief.
The experience she provides is designed to be fun, interactive and completely different from traditional party entertainment.
Guests can expect fitness-inspired games, body building quizzes with prizes and posing competitions, where guests can learn bodybuilding poses before showing them off.
“I’ll also serve drinks and make sure everyone feels included, creating an unforgettable experience from start to finish,” Sabrina added.
But Muscle & Mischief isn’t just about entertainment. Sabrina said one of her goals is to challenge perceptions of female bodybuilders.
“Many people assume female bodybuilders are intimidating, but through the sport I’ve met some of the kindest, funniest, and most inspiring women, ” she added.
Reflecting on her past, Sabrina admitted her life was once riddled with poor decisions, unhealthy relationships, and a lack of direction.
However, everything changed two years ago when she first stepped into a gym and began weight training.
The venture into bodybuilding, she said, provided her a newfound sense of purpose.
“My life lacked structure,” she said.
“I wasn’t truly happy, and although I was active, I never really knew who I was or what I wanted from life.
“Bodybuilding gave me something I’d never had before: discipline, routine, and purpose.
“Today, I barely recognise the person I was just two years ago.”
Sabrina also envisions Muscle & Mischief as a platform for female bodybuilders across the country, offering them opportunities to continue doing what they love after competing.
“Many dedicate years of their lives to the sport and then feel a little lost afterwards,” she said.
Sabrina’s journey into bodybuilding and entrepreneurship is driven by her desire to provide a better future for her children and to demonstrate that it’s never too late to create something extraordinary.
She said: “Turning 40 this year has made me realise that life doesn’t stop when you reach a milestone birthday.”
“In many ways, I feel as though mine has only just begun.
“If my story encourages just one person to believe in themselves, take that first step towards changing their life, or finally chase a dream they’ve been putting off, then sharing it will have been worthwhile.”
