A lad has put himself through one of the most unorthodox fitness regimes you’ve ever heard of – which, judging by the pictures, seems to actually work.
Peter Mossfield, 31, is a gambling man. He earned thousands when he bet he could get addicted to alcohol and then quit, which he achieved.
Now he’s taking things to the next level and is four-and-a-half months into a challenge to get into the best physical shape possible and enter a bodybuilding competition, with a $60,000 bet on the line.
The twist, though, is that he is attempting this while slurping down 24 drinks a day and not even exercising.
Mossfield was initially planning to lift weights to sculpt his muscles, but rather than go to the effort, he’s been using steroids instead.

Going by @boozebagfitness on social media, Mossfield has been providing daily updates on his progress and has shown off his lean and shredded physique.
In a video posted to TikTok, Peter said regarding his upcoming show that his viewers would: “See me on stage very soon and what a sight that’s going to be.”
At this point, the video cut to him without his T-shirt as he flexed his bulging arms and sharp abdominal muscles.
‘If I’m throwing up, that’s going to make me even leaner’
However, with his show three weeks away, Mossfield has had to make some concessions and is slowly cutting back from 24 drinks a day to zero in preparation for the competition.
He promised that afterwards he would play catch-up, guzzling 26 to 27 beers a day to meet a daily average of 24 drinks for the year.
He said: “I’m not cutting back on zero drinks because I’m an alcoholic or I need to get sober or I’m out of control or plan on being sober long-term.
“I’m cutting down because I want the four days prior to the show to be as shred as possible. If I’m withdrawing, if I’m sweating, if I’m throwing up, that’s just going to make me even leaner.”
He also claims he has been ‘targeted’ by some members of the fitness and body building communities on social media, which he claims has led to his accounts being restricted.

He says his viewing figures have dropped significantly, ‘throttling’ his reach.
“They’re very upset that I’m ruining their businesses by showing how quickly you can get jacked just off taking gear and not off lifting,” he claimed.
“Which obviously destroys their business model, preaching people need specific training programmes that they need to pay them for.”
Mossfield called for everyone to follow his accounts so he can share the results of the body-building competition.

He also promised more antics were to come, as he plans to run a marathon while smoking cigarettes, just train biceps and shoulders for six months straight and build a home gym where he will drink and lift.
Mossfield did receive a lot of support in the comments, though others were concerned about his fitness plan.
“Bruh you’re going to either die or long term medical and mental issues! Please stop,” one user said in the comments.
Another added: “By the way, I think it’s just unhealthy. I mean the progress is wild… like years in like months. But I wonder about the impact after.”
The risks of taking steroids

The side effects of anabolic steroids (LADbible)
The use of steroids can have dangerous consequences due to several severe side effects.
“Anabolic steroids are often used to build muscle and enhance performance, but they can be dangerous if used incorrectly or without medical advice,” Dr Kathryn Basford at Asda Online Doctor told LADbible.
“This is because regularly taking anabolic steroids can lead to both physical and psychological changes, as well as certain dangerous medical conditions.”
For men, such side effects include infertility, hair loss, increased risk of testicular cancer and erectile dysfunction.
There is also a high chance of suffering heart attacks, strokes, liver or kidney issues, high blood pressure and psychological issues like aggressive behaviour, paranoia and mood swings.
Drinking alcohol while taking steroids is not recommended.
