Bodybuilder Regan Grimes Outlines His 6,200-Calorie Diet for the 2026 Texas Pro – Fitness Volt

Men’s Open star Regan Grimes is inching closer to his next bodybuilding contest. In a YouTube video from July 10, 2026, he detailed his massive 6,200-calorie full day of eating ahead of the Texas Pro.

Grimes has emerged as a top-tier athlete in the IFBB Pro League thanks to his mass, symmetry, and balanced proportions. In 2025, he competed at five contests throughout the season, giving him ample experience against a variety of talent. His best performance came at the California State Pro, where he took out Sasan Heirati and Leandro Peres en route to gold.

The victory qualified Grimes for the 2025 Mr. Olympia. Despite the triumph, some in the sport, like Shawn Ray, argued that he shouldn’t compete at the prestigious event. He thought Grimes’ career would be better served by taking time away from the stage to focus on improvement. Ultimately, the Canadian native tested himself at the Olympia and secured 14th place.

In his last outing, Grimes pushed Tonio Burton at the Mexico Pro for a runner-up finish. With his sights set on qualifying for the Olympia, he walked through how he’s structuring his diet for the Texas Pro.
