Fans are wondering what’s next for mass monster Nick Walker. On April 20, he broke down his latest 3,857-calorie full day of eating during the 2026 bodybuilding season.
After Walker secured sixth place at the 2025 Mr. Olympia, doubts about his potential crept in. However, at the 2026 Arnold Classic Ohio, he put those concerns to rest. He showcased dramatically sharper conditioning and kept his fullness onstage. Ultimately, he finished second behind the newly crowned champ, Chinedu Andrew ‘Jacked’ Obiekea.
Questions about whether he’ll qualify for the 2026 Mr. Olympia have gained traction. Walker sat out of the Detroit Pro despite bodybuilders calling for his entry. Currently, Walker has until August 30 to win a Pro show and stamp his ticket.

Meal 1
- 45 grams of oats
- 110 grams of cream of rice
- 70 grams whey isolate
- 20 grams of peanut butter
- 150 grams of blueberries

Walker kicked off his day with a carb-rich breakfast of cream of rice and oats.
“This is going to be my first day in the life. It’s been a while since I’ve done these but everyone is curious,” shared Walker. “I’m eating meal one.”
Meal 2
- 7 oz grilled chicken
- 65 grams of cream of rice
- 100 grams of banana
- 20 grams of peanut butter
He moved on with grilled chicken and explained that he’s rebounding from the leanness he presented at the Arnold Classic.
“Definitely after this one, I’m definitely filling out more than usual, which is fine. I’m not upset about that. I was a lot leaner for the Arnold than I was for the Olympia, so I kind of expected to be for the rebound-ish to feel good again.”

During his third meal, Walker shared why he doesn’t believe in mini cuts. He believes they are a result of a bulk gone wrong.
“This has been a topic going around, so I do want to state my opinion. I don’t understand a mini cut. If you need a mini cut, you just took your bulk too far. You took it way too far. I think that’s not going to yield in the best results that you could possibly want, ever.”
Meal 4
“The Mutant” kept it carb-free and clean as the day progressed.
“This is, in fact, a no-carb meal. I decided to do a no-carb meal on my off day just for the simple fact that it isn’t an off day to rest day. For me, right now, still being five weeks post-show, I don’t think I necessarily need carbs in every single meal.”

Cream of rice with peanut butter and frozen banana remains one of his favorite meals.
“Between my first meal and these meals, I could eat this all day,” he shared. “That’s normally what we do with our off day.”

It’s uncertain whether we’ll actually see Walker back on the Olympia stage this year. Rumors have circulated that he might consider returning to the New York Pro or the Pittsburgh Pro. While he never signaled a hard break, many in the community believe he’s giving his body a rest. Former Mr. Olympia Samir Banout believes a break would be smart for Walker.
Walker is easily the most popular bodybuilder in the United States. Fans hope to see him clash with his rivals on the Mr. Olympia stage. The event is set for September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
