Users are actively discussing new official materials for Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 6. The focus has been on the physical appearance of one of the game’s main characters, Jason. When comparing frames from the second trailer and a new screenshot, fans noticed a noticeable difference in the character’s muscle mass and torso definition.
Some in the gaming community believe this is direct confirmation of the return of full-fledged bodybuilding and fitness mechanics. A similar weight and muscle mass adjustment system was previously present in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, released in 2004. Proponents of this theory point to the different sizes of the character’s triceps and deltoids, estimating his current subcutaneous fat level at 15% or 16%.
Skeptics among commentators claim that the difference in body size is due solely to technical factors. Different camera angles, dynamic lighting, and the visual effect of sweat on the skin all influence the perception of body size. There are also suggestions that the character’s 3D model may have been modified during production or that his weight may have changed purely for the sake of the story.
