Bodybuilder James Hollingshead Reveals His Top 5 Men’s Open Predictions for the 2026 Italy Pro – Fitness Volt

All eyes have shifted to the highly anticipated 2026 Italy Pro contest. On June 24, bodybuilder James Hollingshead took to YouTube and shared his top five Men’s Open predictions.

Having secured second place at the Olympia and two Arnold Classic titles, William Bonac stands out as one of the biggest favorites this weekend. His posing experience, full muscle bellies, and conditioning have helped him stay atop the Men’s Open ladder for over a decade.

In Bonac’s last outing, he clinched gold at the 2026 Tsunami Nutrition Showdown Pro. The performance boosted his confidence, and it showed at the Empro Classic Spain Pro. Ultimately, “The Conqueror” got past Edward Kargbo and Sasan Heirati en route to his second victory of the season. However, he faces a much deeper lineup looking ahead.

Behrooz Tabani aims to qualify for the Mr. Olympia after his visa was denied for the recent Empro Classic Spain Pro. He has shown tremendous potential in the IFBB Pro League, winning the 2025 Dubai Pro and earning 11th place in his Olympia debut.

Beyond these two contenders, fans expect Jordan Hutchinson to make a statement. After emerging victorious at last year’s Tampa and Texas Pro, he has legitimate momentum. Even bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler believes he could crack the top four at the Olympia with a bigger back. The show is approaching, prompting “The Shed” to reveal who he has winning.

Find his predictions from the video below:

  • Winner — Behrooz Tabani
  • Second Place — William Bonac
  • Third Place — Jordan Hutchinson
  • Fourth Place — Edward Kargbo
  • Fifth Place — Daniel Goss

According to Hollingshead, the Italy Pro will come down to a tense three-man battle between Tabani, Bonac, and Hutchinson.

“I think that we’re gonna have a real good top three battle between Behrooz, Bonac, and Jordan. Jordan’s probably the most balanced of the entire lineup. Behrooz obviously is a symmetrical sultan.”

He believes Bonac’s density could give him the edge onstage:

“Bonac is a GOAT, 14-time pro champion, dense. What you have to understand is if you ever get on stage next to William is the density from all angles. He has it, and that’s what gets him to win a lot of the times,” explained James Hollingshead.

All roads lead to the 2026 Mr. Olympia contest. Athletes have until September 30 to secure their qualifications. The 2026 Italy Pro is set for June 28 in Milan, Italy. Fitness Volt will have live coverage of the action!
