DAVISON — Ayden Seybert of Davison took first place at the IDFPA Student and University World Championships in Tampa, Florida recently.
He is a World Champion in the 181 lb. weight class and for a bonus, also received best lifter overall.
His overall lifting total was 1,406 lbs. He had a personal record squat of 556 lbs., which was more than three times his body weight and an improvement of 31 lbs. beyond his state record.

Seybert’s next goal is to make Team USA in the IPF, which is the closest thing to the Olympics since it’s currently not an Olympic sport.
