Judge Terrick El Guindy isn’t counting out bodybuilding star Nick Walker. In a YouTube video from June 11, 2026, he argued that if other competitors lack conditioning at the Mr. Olympia, Walker could become the new champion.
Nick Walker was dealt a huge setback after missing the mark at the 2025 Mr. Olympia. He fell to sixth place, his lowest finish at the event. He made significant changes to restore his momentum, which included firing his ex-coach, Kyle Wilkes.
At the 2026 Arnold Classic, Walker showcased an all-time best look. He pushed Chinedu Andrew ‘Jacked’ Obiekea, but left Columbus in second place. Fans were unsure if ‘The Mutant’ would compete again after the show until he announced his Tampa Pro entry. With a new coach guiding him, El Guindy opened up on Walker’s future in the sport.
Terrick El Guindy Makes Bold 2026 Mr. Olympia Prediction About Nick Walker
In the Prime Time Muscle video, El Guindy and Dennis James boldly predicted that Nick Walker could win the 2026 Mr. Olympia, but only under certain conditions.
“I’m going to make a bold statement here. I think if this Mr. Olympia, if a lot of guys are not on, and Nick Walker is on, Nick Walker can win this Mr. Olympia,” said Terrick El Guindy.
James specified that other athletes need to be off for Walker to win the Sandow trophy.
“I’ve been saying this all along but he needs help from the other guys to be off,” Dennis James shared.
El Guindy believes Walker can capitalize on athletes who don’t bring top-notch conditioning.
“I think if there’s a consistent number of athletes, that don’t nail their conditioning, and Nick Walker presents his best physique, Nick Walker could come out as Mr. Olympia.”
“I feel like there might be a moment where this guy breaks through, breaks the internet, and wins the Mr. Olympia. It could happen.”
Though El Guindy and James are discussing how Walker could fare at the Olympia, the New Jersey native has yet to qualify. And some prominent voices in the sport, like Chris Aceto, have stated that the Tampa Pro won’t be an easy win for Walker. Additionally, Lee Priest warned that if Walker doesn’t present his best, Jo Palacios could be ‘right there.’
The 2026 Tampa Pro takes place from July 30 to August 1. Should Walker claim gold, he’ll have a shot at standing against the best in the world at the upcoming Mr. Olympia.
