A Clare athlete says Ireland’s bodybuilding community is entering a new era of growth and opportunity.
Bodybuilders in this county are among those helping to revive the country’s national federation, with the aim of providing greater support for athletes competing at home and abroad.
The Republic of Ireland Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation, which receives no state funding, is seeking to increase participation and engagement across Ireland after facing a number of challenges in recent years.
Shannon-based Ewelina Hrynkiewicz – Kucybala, who recently returned from the European Championships with two silver medals, says the sport receives little support in this country.
