Great news has gone around the world of professional bodybuilding. Slovakian phenomenon Michal “Križo” Križánek has achieved another huge success in the IFBB Pro League. Last weekend he dominated the prestigious Pittsburgh Pro 2026 competition in the royal Men’s Open category. He showed his fantastic readiness before the top event of the season – Mr. Olympia, where he already had a ticket in his pocket from last year.
Križo was in phenomenal form on stage in Pittsburgh. His legendary massive muscle volume was complemented this time by great preparedness. That the Slovak giant has worked on his weaknesses was confirmed by the competition itself. Well-known pro Wesley Vissers congratulated him on his victory saying:
“Congratulations on an amazing package and improved posing!”
But the road to the gold medal was not entirely without obstacles. His coaching guru, the legendary George Farah, revealed the behind-the-scenes of the gruelling preparation immediately after the race:
“I am incredibly proud of this man. The last week hasn’t been easy, he’s been through some tough times but he didn’t give up and we made it to the end. This win means everything.”
Predictions for Olympia
Michal’s victory at such a closely watched competition sparked a huge response on social media, with congratulations pouring in from the sport’s biggest names. There was no shortage of support in the comments from fighters like Andrew Jacked and Mike The Badass.
The respected bodybuilding website RX Muscle called this triumph a key moment in Kriz’s career:
“This is a HUGE milestone in your bodybuilding career. You have shown that you are a serious candidate for a Top 6 finish at the Olympia.”
Well-deserved relaxation: beer and steaks
The champion himself did not hide his joy after winning the trophy. On his Instagram profile, where he shared the winning photo with the medal and the trophy, he sent a message to all his fans and thanked them for their support. He didn’t forget his partner, to whom he said:
“I’m coming home, baby.”
And what are Kriz’s immediate plans before the merry-go-round of preparations revs up towards Mr. Olympia?
“Right now it’s time to take a little break, have a beer, eat some steaks and relax,” the fresh-faced Pittsburgh ruler added with a smile.
