Michal Križánek takes home a great second place from the prestigious American New York Pro. Even though many fans – and after all, even he himself – were secretly hoping for gold, Križo showed that he has his head set on the right track, is not giving up and is looking forward to the next races.
Mixed feelings, but healthy confidence
When you’re pouring sweat and you know you’ve done your best for the result, second place sometimes stings. Michal freely admitted it on his Instagram:
“I’m a bit disappointed, I admit I believed I could win. My form was life.”
But bodybuilding can be unpredictable, which Križo summed up with a bit of hyperbole by saying:
“…bbding is an objective sport and you have to take what is and move on.”
Despite the slight disappointment, he kept his cool, congratulated the winner in a sporting way and sent him a clear message for the future:
“…that was the last time, buddy.”
You can’t do it without a good team
Behind every great bodybuilder are the people who have his back. Michal sent a huge thanks to his home organization EVLS Prague PRO. She, by the way, wrote him a message under the photo:
“You are our Champ ????”.
Words of gratitude were also directed to Scitec Nutrition, without whom he says he would not be where he is, and he did not forget about other important partners like NEBBIA, limitlessbiochem.eu, Matrix and Martin Gajňák.
Stop number two: Pittsburgh
No time for long mourning or rest. The very next weekend Michal has another big show coming up – Pittsburgh Pro. And with the form he’s showing on stage this year, we’ll definitely be hearing more from him. Let’s go!
