Polish actor, bodybuilder and model Jakub Łoza has died just two weeks after sharing a heartfelt post about his health battle, with his agent saying the news came ‘out of the blue’
An actor, bodybuilder and model has tragically passed away at the age of 41, just a fortnight after sharing a touching post online. Jakub Łoza’s family confirmed his death at 3am on Sunday (3 May) to his tens of thousands of social media followers.
Only those closest to him knew he had been quietly battling an unspecified illness for some time. Two weeks prior to his passing, he penned online: “I’m currently undergoing treatment – it’s a real phase I’m going through.
“I’ve never asked, ‘Why me?’ I’ve always said, ‘Jesus, I trust in You. If this is the path, I accept it.’ And you know what? I’ve never felt more at peace than I do now.”
Despite this, his death has left many shocked. His agent, Ewa Rączy, expressed to local media that it came “completely out of the blue”.
She stated: “We’d only seen each other recently through work. He was active, looked great, and seemed to be in the prime of his life.
“There was nothing to suggest anything was wrong. I had no indication, either from him or from his loved ones, that he was dealing with any health problems.”
Jakub was recognised for roles in popular series and films including “Barwy szczęścia”, “Szpital św. Anny” and “Najpierw ucichły ptaki”.
In addition to acting, he worked as a bodybuilder, personal trainer and model, frequently inspiring his followers to take care of their health and enhance their lifestyle.
Jakub is believed to have resided in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, as reported by NeedToKnow.
According to a local report from November 2018, he clinched first place in the Classic Bodybuilding category at the UKUP (UK Ultimate Physiques) British Finals.
His funeral is scheduled to take place in his hometown of Rzeszów, Poland, tomorrow (7 May).
Ewa stated: “He was excellent in front of the camera, with a natural ease around people. He was young, full of energy, committed and talented, but also warm and kind.
“The sort of person who gave something good to others – through his presence, professionalism and positive energy.
“That makes his passing all the harder to come to terms with.”
