Two weeks out and the conditioning is clearly tightening up. You can see more separation in the arms, triceps starting to pop, better detail overall. With Kamal guiding him again, that formula has already proven it works. If he peaks correctly, this could be his best look yet.
Will he be as dry as Hadi? Probably not.
But bodybuilding isn’t judged on dryness alone. It’s the total package, structure, size, flow, presence. Andrew’s height and frame create a completely different visual next to Hadi. That impact matters in comparisons.
Now here’s the uncomfortable part, pressure and optics.
If Hadi wins, the reaction online from the Iranian fans that hate Hadi Choopan could be extreme. Putting the judges at risk of backlash from the Iranian people. As giving Hadi the wind in their eyes is supporting the regime. I know that sounds crazy, but that’s where we’re at right now in today’s political climate.
That kind of external pressure exists. Whether it should matter is another conversation, but it’s real.
At the end of the day, I believe if Andrew comes in sharp enough and close enough, they lean toward him.
So what do you think 👇
Does outside pressure ever influence outcomes?
Or is it strictly physique vs physique on that stage?
If both are 100%, who really wins?
