Samson Dauda confirmed his presence at this year’s edition of the Arnold Sports Festival South America – also called Arnold Classic Brasil.
In an interview with Beyond The Stage TV last weekend, the Nigerian athlete announced that he will do a “guest posing” (the act of presenting himself on the bodybuilding stage without necessarily competing. Generally, the athletes called up are out of preparation, which means, in most cases, a larger but less defined physique than in tournaments) during the event.
The bodybuilder in question is one of the best in the world today and became Mister Olympia in 2024. In addition to the sport’s top title, he was also champion of the Arnold Classic Ohio in 2023.
Dauda is one of the favorites to win this year’s Olympia – especially after dedicating himself to “bulking” (a moment in which bodybuilders increase their caloric intake in order to acquire more muscle mass, which generates increases in size and weight) in which he weighed almost 160 kg. To get back to the top, however, he will have to beat names like Derek Lunsford and Andrew Jacked.
