A violent argument between a bodybuilder and his fiancée at a gym in Amritsar has triggered controversy and serious allegations. The incident took place at Olympian Gym in Ranjit Avenue, where a dispute reportedly began over putting up a nameplate and recording a video.

The argument quickly escalated into a physical scuffle. During the altercation, the bodybuilder’s turban came off and his hair was pulled, while he allegedly snatched and threw a mobile phone. CCTV footage of the incident has now been released by the bodybuilder, bringing the matter into the public eye.

So far, no official statement has been issued by the fiancée or the gym management, and the matter remains under investigation. He confirmed that he has filed a complaint with the police, while investigations into the incident are ongoing.

What triggered the fight in the Olympian Gym?

According to the CCTV visuals, the fiancée was seen leaving the office area after the fight, while the bodybuilder was seen fixing his hair. Several gym staff members arrived during the clash.

The bodybuilder involved has been identified as Amandeep Singh, a professional bodybuilder and world record holder.

‘Take any property in my name’ – Amandeep Singh

Speaking to the media, Amandeep Singh said, “I am a professional bodybuilder. I am a world record holder. Last year I started Olympian Gym. During this time, I had a case going on. The lawyer told me not to take any property in my name.”

He added that due to legal advice, he registered his business and two flats in his fiancée’s name, investing nearly ₹2.5 crore himself. “The gym has 100% investment from me. I invested two and a half crore rupees. I also took a loan. All money went from my account.”

He further said, “I made a temporary partnership deed on a 500 rupee stamp paper in her name just for show.”

Allegations of financial irregularities on Amandeep

Amandeep claimed financial mismanagement at the gym, stating, “For the past 3 months, I found a difference of 2-3 lakhs in accounts every month.” He also alleged that the staff was being influenced and that account details were withheld.

Incident involving video recording and turban

The bodybuilder said the situation worsened when his gym manager started recording him. “My video was being recorded in my gym and my premises. I grabbed the phone.”

He further alleged religious disrespect, saying, “They grabbed and pulled my turban. Then they pulled my hair.”

Amandeep claimed he has appeared before Sri Akal Takht Sahib regarding the matter and added, “My turban and hair have been disrespected.”

‘Never asked about divorce papers’ – Bodybuilder Amandeep

Amandeep also alleged deception regarding his fiancée’s marital status. “I never asked about divorce papers, now I found out that she never got divorced.”
