Joseph Baena, the youngest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, is making waves in the bodybuilding world. Just a week after his debut, he clinched another gold medal, proving his dedication and talent are paying off.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Joseph Baena Secures Another Win
Joseph Baena earned first place in the Classic Physique division at the 2026 INBA Iron Gladiator competition in Corona, California. This victory came right after his debut at the NPC Natural Colorado State Championships, where he won three titles in one weekend.
Baena celebrated his latest achievement on Instagram, writing, “Your new INBA Iron Gladiator Classic Physique Champion!” along with photos and videos of him posing with a sword and gladiator helmet.
The 28-year-old bodybuilder shared insights about his fitness journey in a video posted on INBA’s official Instagram. He revealed he started swimming to lose fat and only began lifting seriously in college. “I fell in love with bodybuilding… this year it was time to commit and do a show,” Baena said. His early dedication laid the foundation for his rapid rise in competitive bodybuilding.
In his very first competition, Joseph Baena completely stole the show at the NPC Natural Colorado State Championships. He walked away with three gold medals: Men’s Open Bodybuilding Heavyweight, Classic Physique True Novice, and Classic Physique Novice. On top of that, he grabbed a silver in the Classic Physique Open Class C. The Arnold Sports Festival even gave him a shoutout on their official account, celebrating his win.
Arnold Schwarzenegger couldn’t attend the competitions himself because he had other commitments, such as receiving an honorary doctorate from Ulster University and attending the Arnold Classic U.K. But he was there for Joseph in spirit, helping him train at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California. Baena paid homage to his dad’s guidance in his post, writing: “You have to shock the muscles,” a classic Schwarzenegger fitness mantra.
Baena’s back-to-back wins mark him as a rising star in the bodybuilding world. With his family legacy and hard work, the youngest Schwarzenegger is carving his own path and keeping fans excited for what’s next.
