Ascension Catholic Junior Caroline Diez won the 132- pound category at the powerlifting state championships in Kenner with a total of 700. Diez’s dad is her coach and was a part of 3 state championship teams for Ascension Catholic in 1989-91. Diez is joined by her dad Andy and brother, Grant , who was part of ACHS state championship powerlifting teams from 2021-24.
