The son of famed actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is carving out his own place on a bodybuilding stage.
Joseph Baena competed in the NPC Natural Colorado State Championships on Saturday and came out on top in the Men’s Open Bodybuilding Heavy Weight Class, Men’s Classic Physique True Novice, and Men’s Classic Physique Novice divisions, per the Daily Mail‘s Isabel Baldwin.
Earlier this week, Baena shared a series of photos in which he was working out with is father offering advice nearby.
Before striking it big in Hollywood, Schwarzenegger rose to fame as a bodybuilder. He’s a seven-time Mr. Olympia and won Mr. Universe on four occasions.
Baena has said for years he aspires to build a career in the sport. On occasion he has recreated some of his father’s famous poses to show off his physique.
