Two Mavericks compete at Texas State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene

Two Marshall Mavericks represented the community in Abilene at the Texas State Boys Powerlifting Meet in Abilene.
Leo Argote and Breon Williams competed in the 148 class and Super Heavyweight Class, respectively.
Argote posted 450 in squat, 315 in bench and 450 in deadlift for a total of 1215 points.
“Both have had very successful seasons up to this point and finished their season this past weekend at state. The coaching staff is very proud of their efforts and the work they put in this season,” said Qamar Acres.
