“Please keep him in your prayers and share if you can.

“He is a Blessing to so many others and breathes life into all he does… there is more work to do.”

Haney was told over two decades ago that he would require a new kidney.

The 66-year-old puts his good health down to “faith, proper nutrition, and exercise.”

“I was blessed to delay it for many years,” Haney said

“Now my kidney is failing, and I’m prayerfully hoping to find a living donor.”

Fans were quick to send well wishes to the former bodybuilder.

But he was also eager to stress that he is “not needed in heaven at the time.”

“It’s appalling to see how fast rumors can spread,” Haney continued.

“Yes, I am in need of a living kidney donor as communicated by my two awesome children.
