Sulek made his debut at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, where he finished 8th in the Classic Physique category in a brutal competition. He brought extremely dry form, but now has his sights set on Birmingham, UK (27-29 March). But what comes next?
The secret weapon for injuries: the BPC-157 and TB-500
Not much talk in the pro bodybuilding world about this one, but Sam has no problem with it. In a recent Q&A video, he openly admitted that when the going got tough, his hand reached for the peptides.
“I have my experience with peptides. Don’t take this as medical advice, but when I tore my chest up badly or knocked out my hamstring a few years ago, the combo of BPC-157 and TB-500 helped me a hell of a lot with healing,” Sulek revealed.
But he immediately added that fans shouldn’t take it as a shopping list. It’s just his personal experience on how to keep his body going with the extreme weights he lifts.

Post-race plan: starvation ends, growth begins
Sulek toiled for six months straight to bring a skinned form to the stage. But as soon as the British Arnold finishes, he switches gears. If you’re expecting him to eat an entire pizzeria on day one, you’re mistaken. Sam has a clear “Size Plan”:
- Slow start: No senseless fat gain. Calories go up gradually. He wants to maintain a solid shape even if the weight goes up.
- Back to maintenance: Goal is to get to a stable 113 to 115 kilograms (250-255 lbs) where he feels strong and full.
- Brutal Volume: Once the body stabilizes, the real bulk will begin. That’s when Sam will put the pedal to the floor and start gaining pure mass for next season.
Lone wolf against the odds
Even when industry figures like head referee Terrick El Guindy advise him to finally find a trainer, Sam keeps going about his business.¨His prescription for training? Simple:
“It doesn’t matter if you’re doing an Arnold split or some crazy mix of parts. As long as you destroy each muscle part twice a week from different angles, you’re good to go.”
We’ll see if this solo ride gets him an even better placing in Britain than it did in America. But one thing’s for sure – once the show is over, things get wild in Sam Sulk’s kitchen.
