The Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GBBFF) has received a significant boost ahead of its 2026 season, with Zoon Logistics officially renewing its partnership to support the One Guyana Bodybuilding Competition Tour.
The One Guyana tour officially kicks off this month with the Battle of the Rising Stars II Novice competition set for March 22 at the Ramada Princes Hotel from 19:00h.
The nationwide series is designed to take the sport to every corner of the country, with events scheduled for Georgetown, Linden, Berbice, and Essequibo.
The initiative aims to provide local athletes with much-needed stage experience as they look toward international competition, while promoting healthy lifestyles to a national audience.
In a symbolic ceremony, Zoon Logistics CEO Jason Singh handed over the sponsorship cheque to GBBFF President Roger Callender.
Singh emphasised that the federation’s vision for youth development and discipline perfectly mirrors his company’s corporate values.
“We are committed to supporting the growth of young talent across Guyana,” Singh noted. “Fitness and discipline are the bedrock of national progress.”
The tour has also gained government backing, as Ministers of Culture, Youth and Sport Charles Ramson Jr. and Steven Jacobs recently met with GBBFF officials to outline a collaborative roadmap for the year.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to the tour, which will culminate in the prestigious ‘Mr Guyana’ competition at the National Cultural Centre in November.
The GBBFF executive team has already hit the road to conduct a “Talent Recruitment Drive” across Essequibo, the West Coast, and Berbice.
Callender and Vice-President Videsh Sookram have been visiting local gyms to scout for the country’s freshest powerhouse athletes.
“We are looking for the next generation of Guyanese fitness stars,” Callender said during a stop in Berbice. “If you’ve been training hard, now is the time to step into the spotlight.”
The recruitment drive continues next in Linden, as the federation prepares for the season opener.
