Detroit Pro 2026: Wesley Vissers wins

The Classic Physique category was one of the main draws at this year’s Detroit Pro 2026 and fans got exactly what they expected – complete domination by Dutch phenom Wesley Vissers. He confirmed that he is currently one of the world’s absolute top players and his path to the title was sovereign.

The winning streak of “The Dutch Giant” continues

After shocking the bodybuilding world with his victory at the prestigious Arnold Classic 2026, Wesley Vissers has left nothing to chance in Detroit. Vissers took the stage in the form of his life – his physique combined incredible muscle fullness, sharp separation and, above all, the aesthetic lines that define the Classic Physique division.

With this win, Wesley solidified his position and gained further valuable confidence heading into the season’s highlight, which will be Mr. Olympia 2026. The judges especially appreciated his abdominal muscle control, chest power and the classic “V-shape” he used to outshine his Detroit opponents.

Strong competition in Detroit

Although Vissers was the clear favourite, the rest of the field was no match for him. In second place was Australian Ethan Gohari, who once again showed a very balanced performance. After his sixth place at the Arnold Classic, Gohari scored another great result, confirming that he is a force to be reckoned with in the battle for the top spots this year.

Paulin Tsamezeu, who impressed especially with his hardness and muscle density.
