Martin Fitzwater Criticized For Allegedly Shoving Nick Walker, Poor Sportsmanship During Arnold Classic

The rivalry between Nick Walker and Martin Fitzwater wrote another chapter.

It is no secret that Nick Walker and Martin Fitzwater have sparked a rivalry during their bodybuilding careers. The two competed in Men’s Open over the weekend during the 2026 Arnold Classic. Two of the top four competitors from the show added to their history.

Fitzwater, who finished fourth during the event, was seen cheering hard when Walker was announced second, missing out on a record $750,000 prize. The issues continued following the show, both on and off stage.

Fitzwater was seen shaking hands on stage once the competition was complete. He shook the hands of each man other than Walker. Fitzwater then responded to a comment online, confirming that he avoided shaking Walker’s hand.

“Yes I hate him I refuse to be fake.”

While this incident took place on stage, there was another encounter backstage. Walker confirmed online that Fitzwater shoved him backstage during an encounter. It is unknown if the IFBB will look into this alleged incident.

Nick Walker finished as the runner-up to Andrew Jacked during the Arnold Classic on Saturday night. He was in search of his second Arnold title in his career, but will settle for second. Walker made major improvements from a disappointing performance at the Olympia. He opted to coach himself for the Arnold and turned many heads, with fans believing that he did enough to win the show.

Martin Fitzwater Shares Statement Following 2026 Arnold Classic

Unlike Walker, Martin Fitzwater was unhappy with his performance. He finished fourth in Men’s Open and did not climb up the scorecard from the Olympia. On Sunday, Fitzwater shared a statement about his disappointment.

“Worst most embarrassing show of my life. I have no words no joy no happiness this prep was my hardest ever for the sh*ttiest result.”

Fitzwater has been working his way up the division in recent years. He has competed at the biggest shows on the calendar, including the Olympia. He has been in the mix in recent years, finishing fourth last year. Fitzwater has won the Prague Pro in back-to-back years as well.

While he works to improve himself, he has decided to cut off social media for one month.

“I will not be on social for the next month if you have my number you can call me otherwise leave tf alone. And if one more tells me congratulations I’m gonna block you You congratulate winners not f*cking losers.”
